  Booked a 3 night camping stay, nice grassy pitch close to bar/reception but further away to the toilet/washing up block. Lovely little site, complete with a pond and residents ducks! A number of static caravan are owned with the owners coming for long weekends, room for motor homes and touring caravans. Check in was smooth and efficient by a friendly couple who made us feel welcome, unfortunately they are moving on to pastures new soon. Toilet/washing up block very clean. Laundry room had washer and dryer too. We used the little on site bar/lounge, reasonable prices and a only a few paces from our tent. Local pub up the road for meals/drinks. The site is near the Lancaster canal so it's great for having a wander and if you are there on a Sunday you can even bag a free canal boat ride (donations welcome, to restore the canal) We had a fabulous relaxing few days here and would definitely come back.
